These people. My Family.
You know, the dictionary definition of a family focuses only on parents and children and genealogy, but I like Lilo’s definition of a family much better. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten. This is my family. We stick together through the good and the bad. We are committed to each other, and with God’s faithfulness and loving guidance, He shows us how to make it work.
At Walt Disney World, guests are often asked, “Are you celebrating anything special?” Well, we celebrated each other. We celebrated our future. We celebrated our family.
Over the next few weeks I’ll post a few highlights from our trip…. New dining experiences, new character interactions, even a review of Pandora: The World of Avatar. However, our main purpose of this vacation was to celebrate being a family. Not a perfect family, but certainly a true “Lilo and Stitch” kind of family. A family where nobody gets left behind or forgotten.
