Welcome Home, Murphy Family

Welcome Home! Two little words with a big meaning for a Disney Vacation Club family. And that’s truly how we feel when we arrive at Walt Disney World, we feel at HOME! But this past week, the words “welcome home” have taken on a special new meaning for our family…

We had come to a crossroads. After much thought and prayer we felt the Lord moving us. Moving us to another city. Moving us to another school. So we moved and ended up here: Hatheway Lake in Madison, Mississippi.

Granted, we didn’t move far. We are only about 40 minutes from our previous residence. We didn’t change jobs. But this move was significant nonetheless. We have felt “Welcomed” Home.

On Saturday, we will hear those magical words again at Disney’s Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. Our family is looking forward to a nice, long vacation in our Happy Place. We need it.

This time, when our vacation is over, we will have a new house to come HOME to, and for that, we are thankful.
